• Dragon Ball Z (ドラゴンボールZ, Doragon Bōru Zetto?, commonly abbreviated DBZ) is a Japanese animated television series adapted from Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball franchise and produced by Toei Animation. The series originally aired from April 26, 1989 to January 31, 1996, and was a sequel to the original Dragon Ball anime, replacing it in the Wednesday 7:10 p.m. time slot.
