• Dragon Ball Super (ドラゴンボール超スーパー, Doragon bōru sūpā?) is a Japanese animated television series produced by Toei Animation, broadcast from July 5, 2015 to March 25, 2018 on Fuji TV. Akira Toriyama is credited as the screenwriter and responsible for the concept art of the characters in this series1. In France, the series has been broadcast since January 17, 20172,3 on Toonami4,5 in a censored version6, since February 23, 2017 on the same channel in an uncensored full version7 and since September 10, 2017 on TFX (formerly NT1)8. The dubbing of the French version is done by the usual team of the saga9, active since 1988, and by the new actors integrated since Dragon Ball Z Kai in 201110. The action takes place some time after the defeat of Boo, following Dragon Ball Z (excluding the Oob arc). The beginning of the story is a rewriting of the plot of the films Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods and Dragon Ball Z: The Resurrection of ‘F’, then the series continues with new arcs. Two feature films — Dragon Ball Super: Broly, released on December 16, 2018 in Japan and Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, released on June 11, 2022 in Japan — follow the animated series.
